Hitchcock’s Odyssey focuses on the fun loving atmosphere of the bar, Bettys. The aim of the installation was to recreate the atmosphere that the bar portrays to the patron as soon as they walk into the door. It does this the same way that Alfred Hitchcock worked in his movies; he made the audience voyeurs, or an actor in the movie themselves. This is the effect what Betty's is trying to create and, in effect, what Hitchcock's Odyssey successfully does.
